A New York transplant by way of North Carolina, Amarachi obtained her B.A. with honors in African and Afro-American studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her Masters of Science in Public Health from the University of South Carolina-Columbia. Amarachi is passionate about social justice and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Amarachi's cross-cultural upbringing and international and domestic travels contribute simultaneously to her passion for identity politics, pop culture, fine arts, and fashion. In her downtime, Amarachi enjoys dancing, cooking, attending concerts, and spending quality time with friends and family.
